I can't handle my baby's squealing! When is she going to learn to babble or can I dream...talk??

I completely understand! Sometimes I am at the store and people are looking around wondering where that 'noise' is coming from and they are always surprised that it is coming from such a little child! I am wondering if it is a sign that she is going to be more talkative?...I am always trying to imagine that it will eventually turn into something positive!

Ummm....can you BELIEVE that I got called out by a 40-some year old man at the supermarket today?! M was squealing away happily & he ame b our cart TWICE to complain under his breath. First time I wasn't too sure he was complaining about us, second time I WAS! So I told him what his they were just kids, and he quickly responded, "then don't bring them if you can't control them!"...to which I said, "she is only NINE months old! How am I supposed to CONTROL her?!" I almost for in the checkout line behind him, just so he would have to 'bare' M's talking longer! ARgh!!!
