This week we are throwing a bit of a curveball, since we know many of you are gearing up for the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday.  Our feature is actually a recipe that we thought would be a great addition to your long weekend meals, and a hearty, warm way to keep those tots happy!

I am always looking for plates that are durable enough to withstand some bumps & bruises, as well as being a good size for both entrees & snacks for the kids.  At Target, they ALWAYS seem to have $1 sets of these plates.  The best part is, depending ont he time of the year, the designs available change!  So, we just changed our Halloween theme for Christmas! The tots are always very excited to eat & find the new designs at the bottom of the plate, after finishing off dinner.

Notice how Halloween has not even passed yet all the stores have moved on (pretty much skipping Thanksgiving) and headed straight to Christmas?! Well, we want to help your anxiety. Both boys and girls of all ages will love this great all in one kitchen. It's a great design with retro yet modern touches. It has everything they will need to entertain themselves for hours on end and the best part is they will use it for years. We especially love KidKraft because their products are affordable and made well. Looks like a high end product you would get for hundreds more. Our little one got theirs when they were only 1.5 old and a year later, it is still her favorite toy.

One of the toughest things about potty training is adjusting to runs to the restrooms as soon as your tot gives you the look. Be ready in awkward places or times with this handy travel potty.  Have it in your car and throw it in your stroller for trips to the park, beach or amusement areas.

This great suitcase will get you organized and your little one excited about your trip. Pull them along or have them help. It's full of surprises!

We are proud to introduce our new shopping website, www.frombumptotot.com and are thrilled to launch our signature product, The Mama Book line. These guides will support any mom through the different stages and steps of mamahood, "from bump to tot".

Have a child that wakes up with unruly hair and don't know what to do? Or need a way to control the baby frizz?Marta has used this Noodle and Boo's Conditioning Hair Polish on both girls and swears by it.  It's great on wet hair and dry hair alike.  It not only turns the craziness into manageable shiny hair but also works as a fantastic hair detangler.  Great for boys too!

The chic and cozie blanket bag is a great companion to your diaper bag. Instead of loading it up with too many toys and accessories when your leaving the house, take this handy bag that can double as a blanket when your visiting family and friends, hanging at the beach or relaxing at the park.

We hate dealing with itchy kids.  Marta & Ferni spent a lot of this summer in the tropical weather of Nicaragua.  These bug bands were a HUGE help in avoiding inscet bites, while also being deet free.  The company also makes sprays & towlettes, but our favorite is the bracelet.  They come in a variety of colors for the discerning tot to choose from.

Vaseline is synonymous with babies, but WE highly recommend using Aquaphor.  It has worked wonders on our kids' diaper rashes, slight skin irritations, & also works as a great winter cream.  It's available at most pharmacies & supermarkets.

We found this tshirt for boys on Modern Lola!  Couldn't resist posting it because it is on sale & it reminds us of what our tots' dads wear to work!

Wikki Stix or Bendaroos are a great toy from the past that is seeing a huge resurgence. The colored yarn is covered in a special wax that makes them bendable, durable and reusable. Our kids have loved playing with them for ours on end. They work great at home or on the road since they don't require a lot of clean up and they are very affordable!

We have a wonderful diaper dekor plus wastebasket but it can only work so much magic containing those terrible odors. We have tried sprays, fans, pellets, everything. Then, on a whim, I tried these great little sachets I found at Target. They have been working like a charm! I even bought some for our bathrooms and closets. TheMunchkin Fresh Totesare $5.00 for a pack of two.
