Pregnancy Tips

  • Use a hair band to extend the use of your pants while your belly grows. Just loop one end through the hole, knot it, and use the rest of the band to grab the button
  • Bring some juice or candy to your ultrasound visit in case the baby is asleep this will help get him/her moving
  • Get as much sleep as you can!
  • Don't remove all the tags from your shopping binges or baby gifts.  You may decide later on you don't need twenty, white onesies and this gives you the chance to return or regift!
  • Keep a pair of flat, comfy shoes in your car (or in your purse), in case your feet suddenly swell.
  • Order and address birth announcement envelopes BEFORE the big day, then provide the stationer with birth information over the phone once your baby is born.
  • Drink water. The more the better. It will help reproduce more amniotic fluid and keep you hydrated which is very important while you are pregnant. Note: You will be going to the bathroom frequently.
  • If you are planning to return to work, start your nanny/daycare search now.  They are both hard to come by and the latter often have long waiting lists.
